My Journey to Building MHG Consulting | Connecting Global Capital with Strategic Opportunities in Romania

Every stage of my career has been more than just another step on a CV. It has been a place to learn, to adapt, and to grow.

I began with a strong legal background, sharpened my skills during my years with the Big Four, and later took on one of the biggest challenges of my life — leading Poșta Română as its youngest CEO. Managing more than 25,000 employees, pushing through reforms, and modernizing a state-owned company showed me that even the most complex systems can be transformed with vision and determination.

Afterwards, I focused on renewable energy. Working on solar, wind, and storage projects confirmed two things for me: Romania has enormous potential, and turning that potential into reality requires structure, expertise, and partnerships at the highest level.

These experiences came together naturally in the founding of MHG Consulting, alongside Marcel Hoară. Through this platform we connect international investors with strategic opportunities in Romania — whether in energy, critical raw materials, or defense. Our role is to bring speed and clarity into projects that matter for both the economy and national security.

Looking back, I wouldn’t change anything. Even the difficult moments turned into valuable lessons. They built resilience and prepared me for projects with real impact.

My goal now is simple: to establish MHG Consulting as a trusted bridge for global investors, to strengthen Romania’s role in Europe’s green and security transitions, and to help Bucharest grow as a regional hub for strategic investments.
